LOS ANGELES - - In reviewing the just completed 2012 USC Trojans football season, there were many things that went wrong and many things that went right. Here is an assessment:
What went wrong: After being the preseason No. 1 team in the country, the Trojans underachieved and imploded at an all-time, historic level, finishing the season with a shocking 7-6 record.
What went right: After a two-year bowl ban, the Trojans finally played in a bowl game, the Hyundai Sun Bowl.
The Trojans started the season with the highest of hopes and expectations, but 2012 turned into a dismal season.
