Bigelow, Rodgers ready for USC
After shortened senior year, USC commits eager to go

USC commits Kenny Bigelow and Khaliel Rodgers understood the risks of transferring to Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian Academy, an upstart school with online courses established by the father of Trojans quarterback commit David Sills.
The school aimed to give players exposure to college football recruiters, but concerns over the all-star squad were warranted, it turned out.
The Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA) denied Eastern Christian's application to join as a non-member. Prospective opponents -- including perennial power River Ridge (La.) John Curtis -- dropped Eastern Christian from their schedules. With no one to play against, Eastern Christian's football season folded.
