The advice for Lane Kiffin today is simple.

Coach, it is time to get your nose out of your play chart and back to the grindstone. The DEFENSIVE grindstone.

It is time to start thinking less about calling plays and more about stopping the other guys. Everyone knows offense is your thing. That's how you made your reputation, such as it is. Everyone who has ever been to practice is aware you spend all your time watching, correcting and advising Matt Barkley, Marqise Lee and the guys.
