Kyle Terada/US PresswireMatt Barkley has handled his offense's surprising struggles with class and humility.
• You have to root for Matt Barkley to have a breakout game after the classy way he's conducted himself since the upset loss at Stanford. Let's just say the Trojans' quarterback has handled things a lot better than his coach.

• Two possible reasons USC's passing game hasn't lived up to expectations: 1. Robert Woods' sore ankle has limited his practice participation and messed up the timing he and Barkley had so carefully established. 2. Defenses now know how good Marqise Lee is. They didn't fully realize it a year ago.
