New-look Cardinal ready to go
Andrew Luck is gone, but Stanford enters Pac-12 play as a dangerous team

LOS ANGELES -- On Saturday, Stanford (2-0) will host USC (2-0) in the Pac-12 season opener for both teams. The Cardinal have taken three in a row from the Trojans, including a 56-48 triple-overtime victory last season. But with Andrew Luck now gone to the NFL, Stanford has a new face at quarterback in Josh Nunes, and its defense will need a lights-out performance as it goes up against the high-powered USC offense.
