LOS ANGELES -- Everybody has their opinion on what the major storylines are for the 2012 USC Trojans football season, a season that appears set up for a major run at a BCS national title.

Here are my top 10 storylines for the coming season.

1. Lane Kiffin: With the addition of Penn State transfer Silas Redd, respected ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit recently called the Trojans "the best offense in college football." The Redd addition has just increased the lofty expectations for Kiffin, who as a head coach has never won a title of any kind. While the son of Monte Kiffin has done a masterful job in guiding the Trojans through probation, both on and off the field, last year's sterling 10-2 record was accomplished without the pressure of championship expectations because of the bowl ban. Kiffin now has a lot to prove that he can win it all when it counts while possessing front-line talent as good as there is in the country.
