LOS ANGELES -- Whether it's war, politics or sports, there is substance to this old saying: "One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist."
And that's kind of how I kind of feel in regards to the if-and-when transfer of standout Penn State running back Silas Redd to USC. If you're a Trojans fan, you stretch your open arms east and welcome the Connecticut native with great gusto.
However, if you're a Penn State fanatic, it's "all hands on deck" and prepare to defend your team roster, a modus operandi Trojans fans know all too well, thanks to NCAA sanctions.
In punishing the innocent players and coaches at Penn State, the NCAA made a similarly overbearing punishment like it did with the Trojans two years ago.
