The Juice is still the pick
Despite off-field problems and a loaded RB history, O.J. is the best USC back

LOS ANGELES -- As former Trojans Heisman Trophy winner O.J. Simpson continues his incarceration in a Nevada jail cell, another Trojans Heisman tailback legend, Marcus Allen, was recently celebrated with national media recognition for his historic 2,342-yard rushing season in 1981.
When Simpson committed his array of heinous actions to the point of public disgrace, Allen was elevated into Simpson's former position as the Trojans' favorite gridiron son and spokesperson, a great irony considering Allen once looked up to the fallen one.
Over the course of time, the perception of both tailbacks has changed and reopened the debate regarding who is the greatest Trojans running back. Sometimes the objectivity comes from the era in which one grew up.
