LOS ANGELES -- Thought to be a weakness heading into last season, USC's offensive line was a strength for the Trojans, protecting Matt Barkley and helping lead the Trojans to a 10-2 record. We'll talk to the man behind the line, offensive line coach James Cregg, to discover the foundation for the unit's success.
KW: If you're recruiting two players at the same position and both are equal in size, speed, grades and overall ability, what would you make your decision on when offering a scholarship?
JC: The player's character is huge. One of the first things we do when we find a player we like is call his coach and ask him what he thought about him and if he would personally recommend him.
