LOS ANGELES -- WeAreSC takes a look at the projected depth chart for the 2012 USC Trojans in the upcoming spring ball session:

Quarterback

Matt Barkley (Sr./Sr.) -- Cody Kessler (So./Fr.), Jesse Scroggins (Jr./So.), Max Wittek (So./Fr.)
Obviously a huge part of the equation here is Barkley's NFL draft decision. If he leaves, there is no designated leader to take over. There would be a tremendous competition for the job through the offseason and into next fall. The Trojans would rather wait a year to see that, though.
