Quick hitters: Barkley and the Heisman
Junior QB deserves consideration, reality is he won't even be first-team All-Pac-12

They're only opinions, but at least they're all mine:
• Matt Barkley can't win the Heisman Trophy this year. I know USC fans are holding out hope, but the reality is the best he can finish is probably fifth.
• How sad is it if Barkley leaves, and the biggest postseason recognition he receives is All-Pac-12 Second-Team quarterback?
