LOS ANGELES -- Right after a game ends, coaches immediately watch the film and grade their players. The grades consist of two things, mainly -- assignment and technique. Here are my position grades after Saturday's 50-0 win over UCLA.
Quarterback: 95 percent (A)
If this was Matt Barkley's last game as a Trojan, then he went out with a bang, tying his single-game touchdown record of six touchdown passes, which he set a few weeks ago against Colorado. Barkley also broke his USC record with 35 completions in a game, as well as moving into third on USC's season total offense chart with 3,542 yards.
At the beginning of the week Barkley said he doesn't get too emotional and tries to not let his emotions affect his play. Barkley lived up to his word on Saturday night by looking calm in the pocket and taking control at the line of scrimmage.
Kyle Williams grades the Trojans position-by-position in their 50-0 victory against crosstown rival UCLA.
