As big as Saturday's victory is now, the win over Oregon will be bigger in the future

It was a big win now, but it was an even bigger win for the future
That 38-35 Cardinal and Gold nailbiter over Oregon was more than a national jolt to the college football consciousness. It was a bright, blinking neon sign of victory, reminding everyone that Lane Kiffin has officially achieved his first major goal.
USC's sanction-riddled football program is on the cusp of returning to the big-time.
