Reasons for Barkley to stay
The NFL offers money and fame, but there are reasons for the USC QB to stay in school

LOS ANGELES -- The more gaudy the numbers, the more inevitable the early departure.
You know it, I know it, and, most significantly, Matt Barkley knows it. If the touchdown passes keep falling like so many raindrops through the final three games of USC's season, the projections by Mel Kiper Jr. and all the raging draftniks out there will convince everyone the Trojans quarterback will be among the first 10, or maybe even the first five, selections in the upcoming NFL draft.
How can Barkley possibly stay when all those potential millions of dollars will be staring him in the face mask? Well, he probably can't. If somebody was setting a line in Vegas, it would likely be odds-on he leaves at this point.
