If the USC Trojans are to consider the 2011 season a success, they'll need to win at least three of their remaining four games, beginning with tonight's visit to chilly Folsom Field and the University of Colorado.
Speaking of Colorado, one of the major carrots for the Buffaloes joining the Pac-12 was the opportunity to recruit more intensely throughout California, specifically Southern California. By aggressively lobbying to be placed in the Pac-12 South Division, the Buffs got an annual trip into SoCal to showcase their program.
The Buffaloes have 29 Californians listed on their roster this season. Conversely, the Trojans have just one player from the state of Colorado, walk-on corner Allen Noble from Denver Eaglecrest High School by way of Mt. San Antonio Community College.
While Colorado wants to recruit in USC's backyard, the Trojans have gotten their fair share of stars from the Rocky Mountain State.
