LOS ANGELES -- When USC hosts No. 6 Stanford on Saturday night at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, all eyes will be focused on the battle within the battle, the duel between highly acclaimed quarterbacks Matt Barkley of the Trojans and Andrew Luck of the Cardinal. The anticipated competition between the two has captured the attention of the nation this week, and much of that is due to the fact that both could be high NFL draft choices next spring.
It's known that Luck, the returning 2010 first-team all-Pac-12 quarterback, has intentions to go pro, but there's still hot debate on whether Barkley will follow. Saturday night could provide some answers, and you can bet NFL draft comparisons will be played out on each throw and each decision made.
