LOS ANGELES -- In USC's most anticipated game of the season to date, its two smallest players stepped up in a big way.
The most memorable play from Stanford's 56-48 victory over USC will likely be McNeal's fumble into the end zone that ended the game in the third overtime. But without his earlier efforts, the Trojans aren't even dreaming about forcing a fourth extra period.
They may have been the smallest guys on the field Saturday, but USC is nowhere close to Stanford without RB Curtis McNeal and CB Nickell Robey.
