The home stretch of recruiting has players, coaches trying not to blink first

LOS ANGELES -- You won't get much argument from recruiting experts that this season of talent-gathering has tested the loyalty and trust of both the coaches and the recruits they are pursuing.

While the Trojans coaches try to figure out the different scenarios of putting together a restrictive 15-player recruiting class for 2012, imagine all those Oregon recruits and commitments that were stunned that Ducks head coach Chip Kelly was thinking of packing his bags and heading to the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers so close to signing day. Or the Rutgers recruits and commitments, who just lost coach Greg Schiano to the job that Kelly turned down.
