After leading his team to a blowout victory over No. 2 Santa Fe in the first round of the CIF-Southern Section playoffs, Pasadena (Calif.) Muir athlete Kevon Seymour was in Oregon this past weekend to check out the school on an official visit.
Seymour said the visit went well, although it took some time to adjust to the surroundings. Living in Los Angeles, Seymour has become accustomed to the city, and Eugene, Ore. -- home of the Ducks – isn't exactly LA.
"It was nice and everything," Seymour said of the area. "The plane ride from Portland to Eugene was only about 30 minutes. We got to Eugene and the airport had two gates. There was gate A and gate B. I couldn't get lost or anything."
