STOCKTON, Calif. -- Justin Davis tried very hard to keep a straight face. He really did. But knowing what he knows, how could he not smile? How could Davis maintain a serious expression while stating his expectations for himself and Lincoln High School teammate Zack Greenlee?

The elation was too much to contain, and his eyes grew big.

"We're going to destroy defenses this year," Davis said, smirking.
