MURRIETA, Calif. -- If eyes don't lie, then consider Su'a Cravens the hungriest player in America.
A focused stare beams through the transparent visor attached to his face mask. The sun sets behind a neighboring hill as Vista Murrieta practices, but not even an irritating glare can shut his eyes. In this high-90s desert heat, his concentration is frozen.
Even Cravens' hair, dyed red on this particular afternoon, is symbolic of the fire that burns inside. His thirst for glory is unmatched.
