Battle at the Beach sees area QBs do battle

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. -- Deep down, four-star quarterback Troy Williams knew after his freshman year at Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne. The hard realization came and, when it did, it stung.
USC just wasn't meant to be.
Dreams of wearing the cardinal and gold slowly dissipated, knowing a Trojans scholarship offer would never arrive. Williams learned to accept it -- there was nothing he could do except be himself, be the dual-threat signal caller he'd always been.
