SAN PABLO, Calif. -- USC fans got a possible glimpse into the Trojans backfield of the future on Sunday at the Oakland Nike Football Training Camp, which was held at Contra Costa College. Two of the USC verbal commitments for the class of 2013 -- quarterback Max Browne (Sammamish, Wash./Skyline) and running back Justin Davis (Stockton, Calif./Lincoln) -- were in attendance at the camp.
Browne had traveled from Washington to Northern California on Friday to take part in the Elite 11 regional competition, where he was named MVP and earned an invitation to the Elite 11 finals in July. Browne had committed to USC earlier in the spring. Davis made his pledge to the Trojans last week, becoming the second running back in the span of three days to commit to USC, following Ty Isaac (Joliet, Ill./Joliet Catholic).
