The animosity felt by Tennessee fans toward Lane Kiffin after his departure two years ago hasn't waned, but that hasn't stopped the USC head coach from venturing into the state in each of the past three recruiting classes.
After making a serious push for offensive tackle Antonio Richardson in the class of 2011 before the 6-foot-6, 310-pound lineman eventually signed with the home state Volunteers, the Trojans will go back this year jn pursuit of another big man in Christian Morris (Memphis/East).
Morris was offered by the Trojans in the middle of last week and said they instantly vaulted to the top of his list. Since that offer, Morris has collected three more -- UCLA, North Carolina and Arizona State -- and is now closing in on 20 total.
His awkward departure from Tennessee hasn't prevented Lane Kiffin from trying to recruit the state, with Memphis offensive lineman Christian Morris being his latest target.
