- Erik McKinney, RecruitingNation
After defensive end Arik Armstead (Elk Grove, Calif./Pleasant Grove) backed away from his USC commitment and offensive lineman Jordan Simmons (Encino, Calif./Crespi) jumped on board, the Trojans now stand at 11 commitments for the 2012 class.
The Trojans coaches are looking to bring in 20 new players with this class, as five will count against the 2011 class and 15 will be the limit for 2012. Three of the current commits are set to enroll early, leaving two spots available in the 2011 class and seven available for 2012.

With Jordan Simmons becoming the 11th commitment of USC's 2012 class over the weekend, Erik McKinney looks at the perfect candidates to fill the nine remaining spots in the class.
