Bowman reflects on California visit
Junior college safety took his first official visit to Cal this past weekend

Gerald Bowman has become one of the most heavily recruited junior college prospects in the nation, and this past week the Pierce (Calif.) College safety took his first official visit to California.
"It was pretty cool," Bowman said. "I finally had a chance to see the guys play in person and meet with a few of the coaches I hadn't met yet."
It was only the third Division I college football game Bowman has seen in person, and he said the biggest shock after getting the in-depth look that an official visit provides was the amount of preparation that goes into a game at this level.
