LOS ANGELES -- USC's coaches face unique recruiting hurdles in this cycle. With only 15 available rides to give, the pool of players they are able to target with scholarship offers has been dramatically reduced.
But even with most of the class already filled by early commitments and players such as defensive tackle Ellis McCarthy and offensive tackle Kyle Murphy locked in as high priority recruits, the Trojans coaches will continue to monitor the senior class, and several players have the opportunity to impress enough to earn an offer. Here, WeAreSC takes a look at 10 such senior prospects.
CB Ishmael Adams (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian)
Adams has been offered by much of the Pac-12, in addition to Notre Dame, Georgia Tech and North Carolina. He has been a terrific tailback for the Lions this season, but it's likely that his contributions at the next level will come on the defensive side of the ball. As the USC coaches search for talent to add to the defensive backfield with this class, they'll undoubtedly look at every possible option in doing so.
