Pennsylvania native Noah Spence says USC was first to call him, always around

Defensive end Noah Spence (Harrisburg, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) is the No. 4 overall player in the ESPNU 150 and is being chased in a big way by the USC coaching staff, despite commitments from defensive ends Arik Armstead and Pio Vatuvei.
Before the start of his high school season, Spence, who is 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, trimmed his list of scholarship offers to seven finalists -- Florida, Notre Dame, Maryland, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Penn State and USC.
With Bishop McDevitt's opening game Sunday, Spence put a hold on his recruiting process for the near future.
