Temple quarterback Clinton Granger's future football career may not have much of an impact on the USC Trojans, but his past could have a big impact on USC's 2012 recruiting class.
After graduating from George Washington High School in Philadelphia, Granger made his way to Pierce College in Woodland Hills, Calif. While there, he did some recruiting of his own, and as a result, the Trojans have arguably the best junior college defensive back recruit in the country in Gerald Bowman, right in their backyard.
Pierce is the third school Bowman has attended, moving from Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia to North Carolina Tech, a prep school, before moving across the country and enrolling at Pierce. Bowman said he several NC Tech friends persuaded him to make the move.
Gerald Bowman, a DB out of Philadelphia, made the move west that left him flush with football opportunities
