Handing out offensive awards
David Snow's stability made him Texas' most valuable player

AUSTIN, Texas -- It might be hard to fathom, with the 255-yard Holiday Bowl performance still fresh, but there were some offensive highlights in Texas' 2011 campaign.
There were a few performances worthy of some recognition.
Offensive MVP: The first one is always the toughest. It can't be the quarterbacks, that much is obvious. That means it is nearly impossible to for any receiver to win the award. After all, someone has to throw them the ball. Malcolm Brown would be the next logical candidate. He finished with 742 rushing yards in nine games. But he only played nine games. Fozzy Whittaker had an inside track, but the he got hurt.
There was one player who was a model of consistency all year, never took a play off and held together a young team that most of the time didn't know which direction it was headed -- David Snow.
