AUSTIN, Texas -- It's the young kids from Texas against the cardiac kids from Iowa State at 6 p.m. CT Saturday in Ames, Iowa.
The Longhorns enter the game with a 3-0 record, thanks in large part to the contributions of their underclassmen. The Cyclones have overcome three fourth-quarter deficits to begin the season, including a triple-overtime win at home over Iowa. They've won their games by a combined eight points. A win by Texas would give it an opportunity to go on next week to Dallas in hopes of equalling last season's win total. A win to open up Big 12 play would give ISU its first 4-0 start since 2000.
