Case McCoy proves he's a gamer, and Kenny Vaccaro continues his improvement

PASADENA, Calif. -- Mack Brown is not going to speculate about who the starting quarterback will be when Texas travels to Iowa State on Oct. 1.

"You always talk about it as a staff, and you get away from the excitement, but [Case McCoy] did a great job today," Brown said, when asked if McCoy is now the firm starter.

Yep, he saw the same game everyone else did. But Brown is still playing his cards close to his vest.
