Texas welcomes BYU to Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Saturday, with both teams coming in off season-opening victories.
HornsNation looks at three matchups that could determine the outcome of BYU's showdown with Texas:
Texas' defensive line vs. BYU's offensive line
Mack Brown expects this to be an old-fashioned street fight that will be won at the lines of scrimmage. In order for Texas' defensive front to win its battle, it will have to improve its play on interior runs against a BYU line that features Matt Reynolds, who is one of the best linemen in the nation. Reynolds, an All-American candidate, will be a tough assignment for Texas' edge rushing duo of Alex Okafor and Jackson Jeffcoat. Reynolds anchors a line that includes three players who have started every game the past two seasons and a fourth (Braden Brown) that started all of last year.
