Can anyone in the Texas program answer the question, "Who are we offensively?"
What can you bank on when it comes to the offense? Coach Mack Brown has told anyone who would listen that he wants to have a power running team. When it appeared that Texas did not have the structure to do that, the comments changed to Brown wanting the Longhorns to be able to run the ball at will.
David Ash started every game at quarterback this season and in the one game when he could not start, because of injury we were told, backup quarterback Case McCoy came in and went 26-of-34 for 314 yards, 2 TDs and 2 interceptions. Yes, he threw the ball 34 times.
