Making proof meet potential
Longhorns can start delivering on promise in conference opener

In the past two years, Texas has lost to Oklahoma State teams which both were ranked in the top 10. When Texas and Oklahoma State meet in Stillwater on Saturday it will be the Big 12 conference opener for both schools. Oklahoma State is No. 22 in the coaches' poll and is not ranked by the AP. With all of that said, this is a really big game for the Longhorns.
