Future Horns still alive for titles

AUSTIN, Texas -- Under Armour All-American quarterback Connor Brewer (Scottsdale, Ariz./Chaparral) ended his high school career last week with his third straight state championship.
Five other Texas commitments still have a chance at ending their careers the same way. Here's a look at those players and how they got to this point.
Aledo vs. Stephenville
Johnathan Gray, the nation's top running back, will have revenge on his mind when Aledo (Texas) faces Stephenville in a Class 4A Division II state quarterfinals matchup at 3 p.m. CT Saturday in Midlothian. Stephenville defeated Aledo 48-47 in the first game for both teams this season after holding Gray short of the end zone on a 2-point conversion try. Gray rushed for 222 yards and four touchdowns in the loss, one of only two losses for the Bearcats all season.To continue reading this article you must be an Insider
