If Jake Oliver had to walk into coach Mack Brown's office and interview for a starting job at Texas, he might get one in a heartbeat.

He's polite and confident, sharp and ambitious. He comes from Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, a private all-boys school with a dress code of button-ups and khakis. And the résumé he'd slap down on Brown's desk is nearly impossible to beat.

Bob Przybylo/ESPN.comJake Oliver will be another polished pass-catcher for Texas' offense.
His career stats at Jesuit are unconscionable: 308 receptions, 4,567 yards, 56 touchdowns. He proudly holds the Texas state record for career catches. He's No. 2 in all-time receiving yards and scores. He did all that on the highest level of football around, Class 5A.
