New Texas offensive line commit has sights set on early playing time

The coaches who put him on "B" team throughout middle school and left him on junior varsity for much of his high school career couldn't do it.

Neither could the recruiting gurus who infuriated him by affixing a "three-star" label to his name.

Not even the four-star defensive linemen committed to LSU, Auburn, Wisconsin and Washington, respectively, could do so at the Semper Fidelis All-America Bowl earlier this month.
