Four newest Longhorns will go through spring ball, could play early

AUSTIN, Texas -- For four of Texas' 2013 recruits, there will be no signing day drama. By Feb. 6, they'll already be nearly a month into their strenuous workload of classes and offseason workouts.
This spring won't be easy for any of them, but it's exactly what they wanted. Four-star prospects Jake Raulerson, Tyrone Swoopes, Deoundrei Davis and juco transfer Geoff Swaim all elected to join the program a semester early and will participate in spring practices.
