Perine about to go national
Former teammate of Daje Johnson will be featured at Pflugerville Hendrickson

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas -- Samaje Perine's high school is 20 minutes from Texas' campus, but he didn't grow up a Longhorns fan.
The Pflugerville Hendrickson sophomore running back was raised in the small town of Choctaw Bluff, Ala., and considers himself a serious Alabama fan.
"I always call him 'SEC,' because he's always in Alabama stuff," Hendrickson coach Chip Killian said. "And he's an SEC-type back. He's a power guy, man. He's amazing."
