Taylor's waiting game
Defensive tackle prospect has interest from three other Big 12 schools

Maybe Vincent Taylor can blame his family's car for the position he's now in.
Few are more dedicated to earning a Texas offer than the San Antonio Madison defensive tackle, but travel issues have twice stifled his plans this spring.
First, he planned to attend Texas' first junior day on Feb. 12. He and his father squeezed in a trip to Texas Tech the day before, but that Saturday night their tire blew out on Interstate 10.
They didn't get home until 2 a.m. and had to skip his trip to Austin. That day, 11 of the 12 elite juniors who did make the visit ended up receiving an offer. The lone exception, Naashon Hughes, earned a spot in the Longhorns' class a few weeks later.
