David Thomas caught everything as a Longhorn.

Seriously, the guy couldn't drop a pass if he tried batting the ball away.

Jermichael Finley was the same way at Texas, and he's since gone on to become one of the NFL's best pass catchers.

Courtesy Mesquite Horn High SchoolVincent Hobbs holds several offers, but could become the lone tight end commit in Texas' 2012 class.
But since Thomas and Finley left Austin, in 2005 and 2007, respectively, the Longhorns' tight end position has left a lot to be desired. Granted, no position has been hit harder by injury over that time.
