Hobbs could solve TE problem
Converted WR has proven to be an athletic pass catcher

David Thomas caught everything as a Longhorn.
Seriously, the guy couldn't drop a pass if he tried batting the ball away.
Jermichael Finley was the same way at Texas, and he's since gone on to become one of the NFL's best pass catchers.
But since Thomas and Finley left Austin, in 2005 and 2007, respectively, the Longhorns' tight end position has left a lot to be desired. Granted, no position has been hit harder by injury over that time.
