AUSTIN, Texas -- The opportunity to live out a dream was just too much to pass up for wide receiver Kendall Sanders (Athens, Texas/ Athens).
There he was, the day before Thanksgiving, engaged in conversation with Mack Brown inside the Texas coach's office in the shadow of Darrel K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. Sanders, who was still committed to Oklahoma State at the time, grew up a Texas fan. He didn't have a clue what was coming next. What transpired was something he'd dreamed about all his life: he'd been offered a scholarship to the University of Texas.
