AUSTIN, Texas -- Class of 2013 defensive back Antwuan Davis (Bastrop, Texas/Bastrop) took the short drive east for Oklahoma State at Texas. He came away impressed by the Longhorns despite their suffering their second loss in as many weeks.
"It was fun like always," said Davis, one of the top junior cornerbacks in the state. "But I like how the coaches commended the players in the locker room for not giving up, because that game was a battle and Texas never broke."
Davis said that Texas is his top school right now. He should get an offer from the Longhorns in February.
He's suffering from a back injury right now and is going to see a specialist to determine the next course of action.
LSU commitment impressed
Class of 2012 defensive end Torshiro Davis (Shreveport, La./Woodlawn) left Austin on Sunday with Texas at No. 2 on his list of favorites, behind LSU.
