AUSTIN, Texas -- Mack Brown and Bob Stoops have faced each other 12 times at the Cotton Bowl, with Stoops holding a 7-5 advantage in the Red River Rivalry.
But the familiar foes have gone head-to-head much more often on the recruiting trail, and each has come away with key commitments the other also was hotly pursuing. Here are some of the most notable players that Brown was able to keep away from Stoops:
