SAN ANTONIO -- Life has an interesting way of guiding someone's personal narrative.
Growing up, Javonte Magee always assumed that whenever he turned a new page on his personal story, it would include New Orleans and its Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood, where he grew up.
But that thinking changed when Hurricane Katrina hit in August 2005.
