OSU pledge Elliott driven by rankings, camps like Gridiron Kings

After winning position MVP honors at the Nike Football Training Camp in Illinois, running back Ezekiel Elliott (St. Louis/John Burroughs) turned his attention to the beginning of July and more importantly to Beaverton, Ore., where Nike's The Opening camp was taking place. There, to prove his No. 257 ranking in the ESPN 300 was a bit low, Elliott turned it up a notch and blew the doors off more than one opponent while satisfying the viewing audience on ESPNU with his speed. Elliott moved up to No. 172. Now, the 2013 Ohio State pledge is making sure nobody forgets his name.
