Oklahoma's 2009 opener was a disaster on many levels. Besides losing to Brigham Young, the Sooners lost quarterback Sam Bradford to a shoulder sprain.
That pair of seismic headlines overshadowed a stark shortcoming at wide receiver, which ultimately would have derailed OU's national championship aspirations anyway.
This season, the Sooners are thinking national title once again.
Only this time it's because of their receivers.
