Sooners still own in-state recruiting
Despite OSU's success, tradition still a factor for many 2013 and 2014 targets

It wasn't a huge shock to see 2014 ESPN Watch List running back Devon Thomas (Broken Arrow, Okla./Broken Arrow) commit to Oklahoma last weekend.
The Sooners offered Thomas well before his junior season and Thomas said OU running backs coach Cale Gundy has become like a second father to him and that he couldn't ignore OU's tradition.
What was a little surprising was to hear the other schools Thomas is interested in -- LSU and Texas. Or to phrase it another way, it was shocking to hear which school wasn't included.
