After injury last season, Sooners commit Stanvon Taylor hungry for state title

It all looks so easy for Oklahoma commit Stanvon Taylor (Tulsa, Okla./East Central). On offense, there isn't a cornerback in the state that can cover him at wide receiver. On defense, there isn't a receiver who can test him at corner. If his junior season was a disaster, then all those bad memories have been wiped away by an electrifying 10-game performance as a senior that includes a district championship.
But the goal has never been 10 games and just a district title. The goal is 14 games and a Class 5A state championship. Tulsa East Central begins its playoff run Friday night and is considered one of the favorites to claim the gold ball.
